I have a problem!

In my graduation project I have to check the modem for messages with at+cmgl="REC UNREAD" i splitted the com4 into com 254 and com255 when i first created the virtualports its working but when i test second time with hyperterminal or my app. it is not working what sould i do to make the virtualports working
