Windows 8.1 can't share

Upgraded Server PC to Windows 8.1
 
In USB over Network Server, I select Share device for any device.
 
Initially device shows up as "Ready for sharing".
Quickly transitions to "Share in progress" after I click Share device.
Half a second later it goes back to "Ready for sharing".
 
Version 5.0
 
When I click on check for New Version it says that 5.0.1 is available. The first time it went to a download screen when I clicked Download New Version. When download finished, nothing happened. Now when I click Download New Version I get a  "Your version is up-to-date. Check for new version later" message.

Support contacted me.
 
Per their recommendations, I uninstalled the software, rebooted, then installed the latest version.
 
Latest version is now 5.0.2.
 
Things seem to be working now.
