Please help me!

I connected to the computer (#1) adapter Moxa A53!
Prior to the adapter connected the meter!
And the software on a second computer (#2) does not see it!
When the other adapter is connected and working!
What could it be?

Greetings!

Devices will not be displayed in the software`s GUI. Make sure you shared the COM port (Your device is connected to this port) on the first computer and created a connection on the second computer to this COM port.

After that on the second computer Virtual COM port will be created. Start the software you use to communicate with your device and configure it to work via this Virtual COM port.

Take a look at this link for detailed information how to use NSPK:

I did as you said!
But it does not work.
Just another adapter is working.

You will not see won`t see the signal if it is not changing. Have you started any application to test your device? What application do you use?

Also please check the Private Messages. I will send you a link for downloading our tool for testing COM ports. It will show the logs of transfered signals.

Please provide us with PortMon logs so we can investigate your issue thoroughly.

Here is the PortMon's website. It's Microsoft official website.
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/sysinternals/bb896644
Here is the direct download link.
http://download.sysinternals.com/Files/Portmon.zip

I need 4 log files:

On PC#1:

- Separately with MOXA;
- Separately with your second device;

And analogically on the PC#2 ;

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Thank you very much. Unfortunately this information is not enough to find the source of the issue so I will ask you to take more logs.

Now please take the logs from #1 and #2 at the same time when your program GetDev.exe is working on second computer. (on first computer NSPK will be communicating with COM port).

And I would like you to take the logs in two cases: when it is working properly and when it is not working.

Hello!
I'm sorry that I write too late.
In the archives of all logs, including logs of getdev! It also logs to a remote survey.

COM3(PC#2)->COM1(PC#1)
COM4(PC#2)->COM2(PC#1)

A complete characterization of Moxa A53, there are described all the signals are received from RS232

Thank you very much for cooperation. You are a great man!

But once again I will ask you to provide as with log files. Please do the following:

1. Configure PortMon to display time in milliseconds  (Options --> Show time);
2. (with NSPK) Take the logs from COM1 (PC1) and COM3 (PC2 -- moxa) at the same time;
3. (with NSPK) Take the logs from COM2 (PC1) and COM3(PC2)  (not moxa) at the same time;

I hope that will be enough to find a source of the issue and to troubleshoot it. Thank you very much!

And yet, my advice!
Add to your program, such as logs to record it so that there were no problems!
