Hello, I am currently using your trial version of USB for Remote Desktop with a RNDIS Linux device , attempting to connect it to a Azure Virtual Desktop.  The device is detected on the Client side, and I can see the Remote session (AVD) in the redirect device listing.  However I cannot redirect to the AVD session, either by drag and drop or redirect device selection. Hoping you can help!

Hi,

What OS are you using on the local (USB for Remote Desktop (workstation)) side? Linux?
As far as I know, only Igel AVD client (Igel Linux TC) supports the use of virtual channels (our transport layer).
Please clarify.

Hi,

Thanks for quick reply.

Let me know the following:
- what OS do you use on both (local workstation and remote server) sides?
- do you see your RNDIS usb device in USB for Remote Desktop (server) GUI?
- do you have a native device driver for the remote OS?

Activate the device in USB for Remote Desktop (server) GUI, open Device Manager on the remote side, View - Devices by connection - Open FabulaTech Virtual USB Host Controller 3 - find your redirected device there, let me know the device status.

Look at the Typical issues:

Hi Sergey,

- Local workstation is Windows 10 OS, Remote Server AVD is Windows 11 Enterprise multi-session 21H2.
- Yes, I see the RDNIS device in the Remote Server (GUI) however when I click on it, it prompts "cannot connect to USB"
- The device drivers have been installed in the Remote Server AVD.

I cannot locate my Device as per the path you mentioned.  However, there is a single entry USB Root Hub (USB 3.0) which provides the status "This device is working properly".

Will check out the article you provided.

Cheers BASS
