The version of the USB server is 6.0.6 on Win 2012, but I have a legacy application protected by a dongle that runs only on windows 2003. In this case, is it possible to run the old USB client? If yes, which version should I choose?
Thank you.

You wrote "The version of the USB server is 6.0.6 on Win 2012, but I have a legacy application protected by a dongle that runs only on windows 2003" ans "only valid for version 6.0 and above". Let's summarize: - USB over Network (server, 6.0.6 version) on Win2012 - USB over Network (client, 5.2.2 version) on Win2003 - you are using your license key on USB over Network (server, Win2012) PC I see no problems.
Thank you very much! I just tried to connect to a shared device/port from the 5.2.2 client of Windows 2003, but it didn't work. The client indicate that "Cannot connect this USB device due to server license limitations."
It doesn't matter where you use the key. "Cannot connect this USB device due to server license limitations" error message means that your license key limit (the number of the allowed usb devices) has been reached.
