I'm currently using USB for remote desktop on a terminal server and its now stopping another program from launching as it looks for usb devices. I tried uninstalling USB for remote desktop and it was able to launch. This only just started happening in the last 24hrs and the only change I can see is the usb software is asking me to update my "update license subscription". Any assistance would be appreciated.

Please do the following: 1) open the following key in the system registry on USB for Remote Desktop (server) PC: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ftsjail 2) find Multi-String Value (REG-MULTI_SZ) ExcludeProcesses 3) add Kroll Device Helper into it; 4) reboot USB for Remote Desktop (server) PC; 5) try to reproduce the issue again.
It is such a common fact that most of the Printer users face trouble in such USB related problems. The remote for USB stops other programs which is not required by us. You can take other details from https://supportnumbers.net/blog/hp-printer-assistant-not-opening/ that will be fruitful for you.
