we are looking for a solution to make local usb devices available on a terminal server running xenapp (citrix). We ran across this site and the igel logo on the front made us cheer.
we are currently running 2 types of igel devices:
The IGEL Universal Desktop LX (UD3-420 LX) with linux firmware 4.00.510.01 The IGEL-4200 LX Winestra with linux firmware 3.09.100
Is the linux client supported on these devices? And if so, where can we download a test-drive
I just googled about igel ud3 and fabulatech and found this post. We are also interessted in the solution. Can you write me how to get and install the client in the igel thinclient, and how to get it up and running.
Like other users in this thread, I too am looking to install your software on a Linux-based IGEL.
I am using UD3-721 LX terminals with firmware version 4.04.550.01.
I was rather disheartened to see that even through your http://www.usb-over-network.com/partners/igel/ page shows support for Linux-based IGELs there is no link to download the trail, nor any documentation related to the actual IGEL terminals themselfs.
Would it be possible to obtain a trail copy of your USB over Ethernet software for a UD3-721 LX IGEL terminal?
Please check your email. I have sent you download instructions. In the linux package you'll find all necessary information about how to use it. If any questions - please don't hesitate to contact us.
I am also interested in testing USB for Remote Desktop on Igel UD and Windows 2003 and 2008 terminal server. I am using Igel UD5-420 LX with Firmware 4.08.500.01.
Hello, I have hundreds of IGEL UD2-130 LX, I need to test your solution on USB Wacom signature devices with Citrix XenApps and XenDesktops. Legacy MS Windows 7 Citrix clients/Recivers with our applications works perfectly. Can you send me a link to the client side for Linux base IGELs please ? Thank you M.
