Error - USB over Network Server Beta 5 on Linux

I downloaded the latest beta of usb over network server and tried to install it on two different machines running ubuntu 12.04. When I try to run it I get the error "/opt/ftusbnet/sbin/ftusbnetd: error while loading shared libraries: libcrypto.so.10: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

Please take our apologies for this inconvenience. This demo was compiled several months ago for the old version of that library. I hope soon we`ll compile a new version and will release it officially.  
 
As a workaround you can create a symbolic link with "libcrypto.so.10" name to the file "libcrypto.so.0.9.8" that is located in "/lib/i386-linux-gnu" or "/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu" depending on your OS.

I never was able to get Beta 5 to work. Tried creating symlinks as from your instruction.  Decided to wait for version 5 final.  Tried it tonight, same thing. Can you compile this to work on ubuntu 12.04.

Is this version that you are emailing different than the one currently available for download on your website? If it is the same, it does not work.

Still getting errors..  
 
error while loading shared libraries: libcrypto.so.0.9.8: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
 
This is a completely fresh install of ubuntu 12.04

SSL can not be installed in that Ubuntu.
The following package is designed to be installed in your version of Ubunta: libssl
 
After installing, everything should work just fine.
Please don't forget to let us know your final test results.
