I have a USB Fax modem connected to a Windows 2008 server which is hosting virtual systems using HyperV. In the Windows SBS 2008 virtual system, I installed the software and successfully connected to the USB fax modem. Query of the modem is successful. However, when I try to use the fax services, the modem picks up the calls and can dial out but nothing happens after that. I called the fax number and it does not make the usual modulation sound when it picks up. At first i thought maybe it was not setup correctly but when I setup the fax services using the virtual server itself, it works just fine. Is this the correct software to use to setup a USB fax modem through the network?
Need assistance ASAP.
