Mic Issue

Hi all,

I am using Windows 7 Professional 64bit, using RDP to connect to Windows Server 2008. Now I hear the audio coming through from the server to my Windows 7 machine. The problem i seem to be having is that when i go to sound devices under recording devices i have ''no audio devices installed'' when trying to run sound recorder '' an audio recording device cannot be found''

so therefore i can't use the microphone through RDP on the server, any ideas?

Hello,

Did you install both parts of the software?  "Sound for Remote Desktop(workstation)" on the local PC and "Sound for Remote Desktop(server)" on the remote one.

Also I need to know what RDP settings do you use?

Hi,

I have installed both the software on my workstation, and the server software,

My RDP settings are remote audio playback - Play on this computer

Remote Audio Recording - Record from this computer

I can hear the sound from the server, but i get no audio device installed for the microphone

Playback sound is redirected with the help of Windows standard means. Our software redirects sound from your local PC to the remote one.

Let`s speed up the process. Can we arrange a remote session? For example via TeamViewer. I will connect your screen remotely and will configure our software.

Please let me know what time and date will work for you. Our open hours are from 7 am - 4 pm GMT.
