Serial Port Splitter Failed Me Again

I use serial port splitter about 3 times per year connecting ham radio equipment for two different programs. When I do this I run multiple instances of these programs using a different pair of virtual ports for each software instance. Every time I encounter issues getting things to work properly. This latest problem the Serial Port Splitter Service (ftspssrv) continually stops and all instances my software crashes. My application of this software is for international radio competitions and after many weeks of preparation these crashes have once again removed me from the contesting field!

I am using version 4.8.1 and have a valid license key.

I have disabled all of my firewall and virus software to resolve this without making any improvements. The Fabulatech appear in the Device Manager table but disappear when the software crashes. Crashes happen most frequently when starting the software. I have opened in administrator mode. I have started the app with computer start up. Nothing resolves this issue

I am so far beyond upset I may NEVER look at these products again.
