Hi,
 
I'm trying to use Serial Port Redirector between a VM and the host. When i initiate the message through my virtual com port, it shows "Connected" on the VM, and "Connection from [Machine Name]" on the host. However, after about a second, it changes to "Broken Connection" on the VM, with no data having reached my serial device. Any advice on troubleshooting this?

Hi !
You can use:
- "Auto-reconnect when connection is broken" and "Use keep alive interval settings" options on the client port side according to this instruction:

and
- "Cache data" option on the server port side according to this instruction:
http://www.fabulatech.com/serial-port-redirector-help/configuring-server-port.html
for your purpose.
