Are Scansnap scanners supported? Will network/Wifi installed scanners become supported?

Hi,

We can redirect only TWAIN-compatible scanner.
It doesn't matter how the scanner is connected to the PC.

Thank Sergey. I thought both WIA and Twain are supported? Something maybe wrong on my install then. It is not detecting shared scanners. Also our environment is Citrix and we log into a win10 multi-session desktop. Is this supported?

Hi again,

1) Do you have a WIA driver for your Scansnap scanner?
If yes try to scan the doc in MSPaint app locally.
As I wrote earlier it doesn't matter the type of the scanner connection (usb/network/...).
If you don't have a WIA/TWAIN scanner driver then you can use our product for redirection.
2) We are supporting all 3 main RD protocols (RDP(+WVD)/ICA/PCoIP(Amazon&VMware&Teradici)).

I have a WIA scanner (mfp) and a TWAIN (mfp). They are both connected via USB to my computer and both are detected in my remote session. We use a third party TWAIN app to use the fabulatech scanner. I log into another computer and install these same printers via network/share and they are not detected in the remote session. Do I need to configure something extra?

Hi,

You have created a new topic "Scansnap Scanners".
As I know all models of Fujitsu ScanSnap don't have a WIA&TWAIN drivers.
For example Scanner ScanSnap S1100:
https://www.fujitsu.com/global/products/computing/peripheral/scanners/scansnap/s1100/
"ScanSnap specific driver (TWAIN/ISIS® not supported)".

You wrote "I have a WIA scanner (mfp) and a TWAIN (mfp)".
Ok. Let me know the model of your scanner.

Regarding "both are detected in my remote session".
Do you use our product for scanner redirection in this case?

"and install these same printers via network/share"
I don't now what do you mean by "printer". With help of our product you can redirect the scanners only.

"Do I need to configure something extra?"
If you can see your scanner as a WIA/TWAIN source in WIA/TWAIN app (MSPaint and VnView for example) and you can use it in this app locally (on Scanner for Remote Desktop (workstation) PC) then you'll be able to redirect it with help of our product.

"they are not detected in the remote session". Where?
In Scanner for Remote Desktop (server) GUI or your "third party TWAIN app"?
