printer redirect causes loss of vm connectivity

Hello, this one might be a little tricky.
We bought the FabulaTech service to redirect a couple of USB printers connected locally to a thin client that has the No Touch OS (stratodesk) installed to a Windows 10 Virtual Machine (VMWare) using a FreeRDP connection.
After installing the server /client, turning the USB redirect on in the correct 2 places, it works great - sees the printers and connected automatically, no configuration needed.

When coming into work the next day, we can log on to the virtual machine, but after about 1-2 seconds, the windows session is disconnected.  if we unplug the usb cables from the thin client we can stay connected.   if we toggle the USB redirect off and on from the management console, it will stay connected, until the next day.

can you think of anything that is causing the service to crash the connection?  Obviously, we would like the redirection to be persistent and not re-adjust the printers daily

Hi,

I would advise you to contact Stratodesk Support and request a latest version of NoTouch OS.
There is no problem with freerpd session there.
