Hi, i've purchased NSPK a few days ago. NSPK is working on Marathon EverRun system, sharing the coservers physical com ports to the virtual Server. The problem is that after some time working properly virtual com ports get opened forever and dont release. Service using com port prints a generic open port error and ports stay opened after service stops!. Only way to get working properly for a time is to restart the nspk service on virtual server. Please i need some help. Best regards Thank you!
Please specify the following: - version of NSPK (we recommend the newest one http://www.fabulatech.com/network-serial-port-kit-download.html) - please send your sysinfo from both machines to support@fabulatech.com To get sysinfo you need to do the following: Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> System Information File -> Save - nspk-err.log files from both machines (in system32) - please download our Serial Port Control http://www.fabulatech.com/serial-port-control-download.html and try to open the virtual port when it stops working again. What error code do you see? - can you notice any pattern of the software failing? Do you do a standy or suspend the virtual machine?
Awaiting your reply. You can also write to support@fabulatech.com
Ok i will have all the data on Monday. Now i can say you: -NSPK version is latest. -SO on all physical and virtual server is w2k3 R2. -The service using virtual com port is a GSM modem provider. That service open and closes the port for send/receive every 5 seconds. - There is not standby, is working fulltime.
1. Your version of NSPK is not the latest version. Please download 5.7.0, a lot has been changed both in the driver and the service. If it doesn't help we'll dig further. Also, we'd like to see your sysinfo as a .nfo file, as it's pretty difficult to work with a 300k text file.
as for the 0xc00000a3 - Device not ready - we'll check this and tell you a little later what causes this.
