Serial Port Cannot be opened

Hi, i have one kenwood radio in a Remote PC with Win XP SP2, that radio is connected to COM1 and that port is shared like COM3, when i tried to read the radio in my local PC using COM3 (virtual port) with the generic kenwood software, my partner via MSN Messenger tell me that the radio starts to read fine but it stops and in my local PC the Kenwood Software says "The serial Port Cannot be opened"

I turn off the win XP firewall and open ports 65535 and 33600 in both PCs Local and Remote, the sharing process works fine, but i can't to read the remote serial port, i ping that ip and ping fine, i don't know what to do or how to "open serial port", thanks for your help
