UI to service communication API is not Initialized

Every few days I get a condition where the USB redirection does not work.
I run the USB for remote server app and get "UI to service communication API is not Initialized" in a dialog box in the middle of the app screen.
No USB devices at the remote end are shown.
If I then disconnect from the server, repair the installation on the remote end, reconnect, it works again, until the next time.
this is the log from this mornings failure.

Any help you can offer would be appreciated.
