Device Access Policiy Limitations

Hello-

Within our AD-based device policies, the cybersecurity team wants to restrict access as much as possible, so their desire is to limit allowed devices down to the serial number. This means that a new device group would be needed for every device that would be allowed to connect via USB for Remote Desktop. My questions:

1. Is there a limit to the number of device groups we can create within our AD-based policy store?

2. Are there any drawbacks - performance or otherwise - to having many device groups? I guess a rough estimate would be 400.

Thanks,
Chad Schroeder

Hi Chad,

Thanks for the interest in our products and for your request.
1) regarding the number of device groups. There is no such limitation.
2) I don't know any drawbacks for such number of device groups.
You are welcome to test our solution
