We have a problem using our finger recognition device in Windows 2003 Terminal Services. Simple problem, it doesn't work. So I looking into software solutions to solve this problem and USB to Remote Desktop seems to be the solution.
If I have 5 client computers with Finger print USB devices (Hamster - Nitgen - HFDU01), and the 5 computers connect to 1 Windows 2003 Terminal Services server, how many licenses/products do I need to buy of "USB to Remote Desktop"?
Unfortunately Windows operating system does not allow to use HID devices in Remote Session and as FingerPrint Reader is considered to be a HID device you are advised to test our USB for Remote Desktop solution before purchasing it. The version from the website is a 15 days trial. You can redirect up to 3 devices to TS using it.

As for your second question - you will need 1 license for 5 devices.
Thank you for the answer. After browsing around your forum I had already reached the conclusion that HID probably won't work with Terminal services. However I will give your SW a trial. Thank you again.
