I downloaded your "USB for Remote Desktop" product (to test and see if we should purchase it )...

1) Installed Server Component
2) Installed workstation component
3) Installed "digitalPersona 'U.are.U 4000b'" and software
4) Tested on the local workstation that fingerprint scanner works (result ok)
5) Redirected to Server, your server side software shows that the redirection is ok.
6) The testing software and the software I need it for doesn't see the device
7) What I have noted is that the workstation shows it as a "biometric" device in device-manager (if not redirected) and the Server shows it as a "Personal Digital Device" (once redirected)

Do you have any advice?

Hi,

Is it possible to try our USB over Network instead of USB for Remote Desktop? Just in order to explore whether this problem is concerning to our USB sharing technology or to something else (e.g. RDP session mechanism).

You can download USB over Network here:
http://fabulatech.com/usb-over-network-download.html

So please try it and inform me about your results.

Thanks

I am trying USB over Network, I have same reader, but I cannot share, it shows yellow exclamation mark in the icon with "Problem..." added to the device name.

Is there anywhere that I can retrieve error message or if this is a compatibility issue?

Regards.
