Can't share this USB device automatically

Hi,
 
I tried the latest USB over Network version demo on my network because we are planning to buy it later for one of our customers.
 
I installed the server on a computer with my USB device connected to it. It started fine and detected my device. The one I wan to share is an USB scanner device. It's a Plustek PL806 scanner.
 
When I share it, I get an error that says : "Can't share this USB device automatically. You have to unplug and plug this USB device manually."
 
I tried unplugging it and replugging it many times, rebooting the computer, closing it and restarting it. Nothing works. I was wondering if it's because this type of scanner is not supported by your software. Does anyone have any clue ?
 
I did a search on this forum and found nothing about this message.

Hi,
Thank you for interesting question.
First of all, we've just released new 3.1 version. So, I highly recommended you to try with 3.1
If the problem occurs again, please do the following:
- Enable "Auto-sharing" option on the Server side (you may need to set-up exclusion USB device list also there).
- Reboot PC
After reboot you scanner becomes shared automatically.
