3Dconnexion connection

Purchased new license and installed version 6.0.3 on server and workstation. When i use remote desktop connection to connect to the server the space explorer mouse light turns off and lose functionality of space explorer.  The server is running Windows 10 and the client is running Windows 8.1. Any idea why i would lose functionality from the Windows 8.1 client?

I also have the logs if they are needed.  I notice in the logs this is repeated several times...
