Problem connecting iPad to iTunes

Hello - I'm new to this forum so please go gently with me!
 
I am using USB over network to connect a device between two PCs on different floors of my house.
 
Specifically, I want to be able to connect my iPad to my desktop computer on the ground floor, and have it connect to iTunes on my desktop computer in the basement.  I'm running Windows 7, and both computers are connected via ethernet to my home network.
 
Everything works fine in that USB over network server and client recognises the device and connects it, and I can access my iPad remotely using the "Computer" icon from the Start menu on my basement computer.  HOwever, iTunes does not spot the iPad is connected.  Needless to say, if I connect my iPad directly to the desktop in the basement, iTunes does recognise it.
 
I wondered if anybody had any experience of this or had any advice?

The new version of USB over Network and USB for Remote Desktop will be officially released. The iTunes connectivity issue already fixed.
