USB dongle software doesn't show up

We are trying to move one of our clients to a Hyper-V virtual server. One of their main software packages has a USB dongle by KeyLok. In the device manager I can see that your software creates a Shared USB Device when it's plugged in, but it doesn't actually come up in the GUI. Any ideas?

Please specify the following:
-Name and product version you are using
-OS version and platform where our products are or will be installed.  
Please describe us the procedure of sharing (redirecting) of your dongle. How did you find out that
> it doesn't actually come up in the GUI
