I'm using USB over network to connect a USB device connected to my laptop to a virtual machine running on the same laptop. Both machines run Vista and the connection worked just fine for a long time. Recently, I started struggling with it. Just installed the latest version and now the client cannot see the server at all. I have enabled both programs through the firewall - just in case. Still the same problem. What are the steps to troubleshoot this? What could it be?

I did install the client on the same OS where server runs. I got the same error initially, but then the client picked it up. When I tried from the virtual PC, same thing. It works now, even though I don't fully understand what actually happened. Thanks for your help!

Highly strange Even don't know what has been changed. Have you removed server record in Client GUI and added it again? May be wrong IP address has been added last time? In any case, it's working now! Thanks!
