SPR & Windows 11 - Access Denied error at test

We've set this up in the past without issue (can't be certain if the last system was W10 or W11) but we are encountering a persistent issue on the installation today:
 
SPR configures Com port fine and all visible in control panel with "device working properly" message.
 
But when testing using Putty we get access denied issue - the SPR panel shows "Connecting" during the access attempt. Added standard 9600 modem via lagacy hardware add with similar response in panel followed by config error from modem.
 
The logged in user IS admin, run as admin, changed port numbers, restarted etc. etc. to no change in status; any thoughts please?

Hello!
 
Our Serial Port Redirector is not supported by Windows 11 at this moment.  
 
We are working on updates for our serial redirection products, and they will be released later this year.
