NSPK V5.0 Problems  (Connecting)

Hi,

We use NSPK V5.0.
We set up 20 pairs of local NSPK-connections and just tried to open the virtual COM-Ports.

Sometime it works (green icon at the NSPK-Dialog and status "connected"), sometimes it fails (orange icon and status "connecting")

It seems, "swispec" has the same problem Huh
Is there a timing problem Huh

Can someone help us Huh

Thanks a lot !!!

Do you get the same problem if you will reduce quantity of NSPK pairs (e.g. up to 15, 10, 5, 2)?

Yes,

sometimes, the failure occurs even with 2 pairs.

(in some cases, you can't disable the NSPK-program after the connecting failure, you have to kill the NSPK-task and you can't restart ist --> "Program cannot start because of the following error: Error (121). Module: NspkShell (143)" --> you have to restart the PC)

I think the failure occurs more often, if you use an older PC with less performance

Can you please email us <to support@fabulatech.com> error log file (nspk-err.log) created by Network Serial Port Kit? You can find this error log into:

C:/windows/system32/nspk-err.log

Hi,

fabulatech told me, that they found the problem.
They'll fix it and new version will be available this week. (NSPK V4.7.4 doesn't have this problem)

New fixed 5.1 version of Network Serial Port Kit has released already. You can try to reinstall and test this new version now.
