Post-Install Procedures for Citrix ICA
Starting with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 2109, Virtual channel allow list policy setting is enabled by default. This policy allows only listed virtual channels to be opened in an ICA session, thus effectively disabling any third-party software from opening virtual channels.
As FabulaTech software require virtual channel for its operation, disabling virtual channel will result in "No connection to the Workstation Module" error message in the system tray icon.
To enable virtual channels, go to Citrix Studio > Policies and check the Virtual channel allow list policy settings. For proper device redirection this policy should be either disabled, or containing virtual channel and path required by FabulaTech products:
CITRDP3,C:\Program Files\Common Files\FabulaTech\Netlink 3\ftnlsv.exe
More information can be found in the Citrix documentation.
