hang up connection using ATH command

When I have to virtual modems connected to each other the remote modem doesn't hang up when I issue +++, ATH on the originating modem. If I issue the +++, ATH sequence on the receiving modem both of the modems hang up. is there a way to resolve this?

Hi !
What app your are using for communicating with modem ?
As I understand you can't disconnect the established call via +++ (command state) and ATH, correct ?
Can you explain the issue in detail (make screenshots if possible) ?
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi Sergey,

I'm using Tera Term to connect to the COM-port of the modem and then I use AT commands to communicate with the modem. I have a connection between to virtual modems, I issue +++ and then ATH. This has always worked with any physical modem I have tested with, the modem where you issue +++, ATH hang up and the other modem hangs up because of "NO CARRIER".

If I do this from Tera Term connectected to the virtual modem that starts the call only that virtual modem will hang up. If i do the same thing from the modem that answered, the virtual modem that answered the call will hang up and after that the virtual modem that started the call will hang up and send back "NO CARRIER" to Tera Term.

Hi !
I can confirm the existence of TCP connection after the "hang up" command on the calling side. I have created a task for our developers ( #4858 ).

Hi!
This issue was resolved ( task #4858 ).
I would advise you to use the latest (2.2.2) release of Virtual Modem:
