Connect to a Building Management System

I would like to remotely access a building managment system in a building I own to keep an eye on my tenant's energy usage (I pay the utilities).  The building management system has only a modem (with a dedicated analog phone number) and my office phones are digital (PBX) so the modem connection doesn't work.  I would like to access the modem through the internet.  Will this program allow such a connection?  Any idea how to make this type of connection?  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

If your modem is serial "Network Serial Port Kit" will give you the possibility to access the modem via internet.
