Evaluating Software - 3D Mouse Issues

An engineer at my company has been tasked with evaluating the USB for Remote Desktop software. The goal is for a user to be able to use a 3D mouse in a conference room to operate a SolidWorks instance on their personal workstation via remote desktop.

We were pleased to see that the software seemed to work well for this purpose. However, when the engineer returned to his desk, despite restarting the engineering conference computer, his local 3D mouse was inoperative. The only way to bring it back was to unplug the device and plug it back in.

I noticed on the forum that someone else had a similar issue, and claims that Support had a fix. Is there a resolution for this issue?

Both computers are Windows 10 x64 and both computers are using a Connexion 3D mouse.

Hi !
Please make sure that you are using the latest driver version of your mouse.
"when the engineer returned to his desk" - in my opinion you must stop and start again the driver of your 3Dconnexion mouse locally.
One clarification. You must restart SolidWorks after that too.
