Trying to use USB-RDP for a Tracer UC400 from Tran

We are in the 14 day trial and trying to determine if we should buy this software.  We are trying to access the Trane UC400 pluged into a Laptop RDP'd back to the server with the software used to configure it.  We have about 200 of these installed throughout the building and it would be great if we could make this work.  We have the drivers installed on both machines but whenever we RDP to the server the Tracer UC400 device is grey in the systray menu.  Any help is appreciated.
