Hello Team,

Im having an issue with the program usb over Network. Im trying to connect to a remote computer to get his usb on mine. My friend have the server program, and I have the Client program.

We are using team viewer to connect remotely and VPN service of team viewer to stablish a secure connection. When I add his ip or computer name, he appears offline in the client program.

Anyone can help me and explain how i need to do in teamviewer?

Thanks,
Alexandro A

Dear customer,

First of all check the status of the Windows firewall (you need to turn the firewall off or create the firewall rule for the USB over Network port). If you are using the Internet router on the server side of the USb over Network you need to configure the port forwarding on it.

Dear customer,

There are hundreds of different router models and we are not affiliated with any manufacturer. Usually there is a web interface in which you should be able to configure port forwarding and make it accept external connections to tcp/ip port 33000. Please check with your systems administrator.
