Title: Re: Linux support Post by bdobson on Jul 11th, 2008, 2:24pm Hi there - was there ever any progress on this? My customer needs this for their product. It appears that you use a proprietary protocol on the socket - is there a way to connect to a raw socket with no handshake/protocol? I have that working on the Linux side. Alternatively is there a way to get the protocol details? Thanks, Brad. |

Title: Re: Linux support Post by Andrew on Jul 24th, 2008, 1:13am Dear Brad, What if you try to use our alternative solution: Serial Port Redirector. It creates virtual COM port on Windows side and allows to redirect all traffic to specified IP address/TCP port. Raw TCP protocol is used as transport (also Telnet RFC2217 COM port control protocol is supported). http://www.serial-port-redirector.com Thanks. |
