Network Serial Port Kit

Hi, I am new to NSPK.
I have downloaded the trial version.
Installed on both source and dest.
how do I know that I shared my serial device (Pinpad) successfully? currently it is sitting on COM1 - Waiting for Invoming Connection and it has a red dot.

does that mean it is not shared correctly?

when trying connect another servers remotely, (1 is on the same network, 1 is on a different subnet - 1 at a time), I got a red dot too

thanks

This is completely normal.

The red dot will turn green as soon as you open the created virtual port with some software that uses the serial device.

If this doesn't help, please let us know

yes, after running the EFTPOS configuration wizard on my application server, it found my pinpad with no problem.  NSPK worked!
FYI. my source and destination servers are on different subnet. 1 is in DMZ zone 3 and 1 is in Zone4.  just need to burn a firewall rule for port 33600 for both.

Thanks
