Hello,

I was going to test NSPK and my computers are not on same network. As per my understanding i need to open port 33600 (or i can choose other port) on my firewall and forward it to ip address of the computer.

do i need to open the port on both sides because both the computer are behind firewall.

thanks,
p

parry2k,

Yes, correct. You need to open the port for the machine to which you'll be connecting remotely. But just to be sure, try opening this port on both of them.

Please let us know the results.
Thanks!

Parry2k,
I got this working for my two servers which are on a different subnet.  In my case, 1 is in DMZ zone and 1 is in zone 4.  all I had to do was burn a firewall rule to open port 33600 for both servers.  I didn't have to do any reconfiguration of NSPK.

Cheers,
